This policy explains how Cloud Ordinate ("we", "us") handles personal data on the Hawker website and in the Hawker service. We wrote it with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) in mind.

Two roles: website and service
On this website, we decide how your personal data is used, so we are responsible for it.
In the Hawker service, we process chat and order data on behalf of the store that uses Hawker. The store decides why that data is processed and is responsible for it. If you are a customer of a store that uses Hawker, please contact that store first about your data.
What data we collect
- Contact details you send us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and store name, when you book a demo or write to us.
- Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, kept in server logs by our hosting provider.
- If we turn on the Meta Pixel, data about your visit and the actions you take on this website, collected through cookies.
- In the service, on behalf of stores: customer names, WhatsApp phone numbers, chat messages, photos customers send, order details, and delivery addresses.
Why we use it
We rely on your consent, on the need to perform a contract with you, on our legal obligations, or on our legitimate interests, depending on the purpose.
- To reply to you, run demos, and send quotes.
- To provide, secure, and support the Hawker service for stores.
- To understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising, if the Meta Pixel is on.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting duties.
Who processes it
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and the service, such as:
- Our website and server hosting providers.
- Meta, which carries WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Cloud API.
- The AI model provider that generates the agent's replies.
- Our email and booking tools.
- Meta, for advertising measurement, only if the Meta Pixel is turned on.
Some providers may process data outside Saudi Arabia. When that happens, we take steps required by applicable law. Custom plans can run on a dedicated server inside Saudi Arabia. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep website contact data for as long as we need it to talk with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires longer.
We keep service data for as long as the store's contract is active, or as the store instructs. When the contract ends, we delete or return it within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect it
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and limited staff access to protect personal data. No system is fully secure, so please tell us right away if you think there has been a problem.
Your rights
Under applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Know how your personal data is processed.
- Get a copy of your personal data.
- Ask us to correct or complete it.
- Ask us to delete it when we no longer need it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
To use these rights, email us. You may also complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies unless the Meta Pixel is turned on. When it is, Meta sets cookies to measure visits and ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This website and the Hawker service are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top of the page when we do.
